So my 7yr old discovered that she is "addicted to Fiahing" as she puts it. Took her out on the boat for for our first fishing trip out on the water (she had enough of catching sun patties from shore). The day started slow, but picked up, she ended up catching 5 Yellow Perch and 2 Smallies, one of which was 1.5lbs and reeled in by her own hand!

Took a day to go to Cook Pond, first cast in Tony landed a 2.6# LMB. All in all we caught about 12 or so, using a variety of lures. The periodic rain kept us nice and cool!

Went out to Long Pond in Lakeville today for the first time with a couple guys. I ended up catching 2 Bass on Black Hawk Custom Baits "pole Dancers", 1 Crappie on a white and chartreuse spinner bait and a couple small perch on a black and white jerkbait. Between the 3 of us we got about 8 Bass, 3 pikerels, 1 Crappie, and a bunch of Perch. I ended up hitting a sand bar and had to beach on one of the islands and do a shear pin replacement (thankfully I had some).
All in all was a day well spent!!

First kayak trip of the year was a good one! Hooked about a dozen decent sized LMB, lost 3 of them. My biggest got away due a bad knot :/
I was fishing in about 2ft of water, using a wacky rigged pumpkin seed worm with a chartreuse tail with 8# flouro. Casting in weeds and submerged trees.

Despite my back still being a wreck, I took my 7 year old daughter to Cook Pond for some fishing and relaxing on the water. Struck out, the fishing gods did not favor me today, but still had a great time!
Was using Jigs, lipless cranks and my trusty ol' daredevile.

Took my wife to South Watuppa yesterday and today for some fishing off the dock, endin up pulling out about 10 white perch in total between both days! Although yesterday being overcast and cool was the most action. We were again using our perch favorites, trusty ol' daredevil.

Hit Cook pond again with my brother for a quick fishing trip, and to test my trolling motor, battery longevity ect. Caught 12 fish, 2 little yellows, 9 white perch (a couple which were a nice size and put up a decent fight) and a sunfish. We used old school red and white Dare Devile lures, and funny enough, any time one of us switched to something else, the bit stopped.
