Contoocook River 7/6 & 7/8
Fished 2X in the last few days. Got on the river Sunday (6th) at 6:00AM and had the river to my self! Picked up a few bows, and smallie or two and some of the silver backs (white fish). Water was 66-67 so C&R was the way to go. Fished morning of the 8th about 7:45 AM and it was warm then, water temp was peaking into 70 below town in what I call the "rock garden" area. Rocks were slipery and the water seemed to be up a bit so I never got to the spots I wanted to. Picked up a few fish and called it a day....
Off to hit the salt marsh by sun rise Thursday morning!!!
